With evolving Virtual Reality technology in our daily lives, Manish Malhotra’s Winter Collection in Lakme Fashion Week was shot with 360 degrees Camera’s powered by Xenium Digital Pvt Ltd. With a team of Directors, DOP & technology experts Xenium Digital conceptualized and shot the entire evening using its 4K Camera’s. The VR Rig consist of 5 Cameras that covered the entire event.


These rig were installed at strategic locations to cover the show in 360 degrees. The event was glittered with presence of Shraddha Kapoor, Sushant Singh. Mr. Malhotra says he intentionally kept the work heavy to enhance the whole experience of virtual reality. “Keeping the virtual reality concept in mind, I have made the arts and the crafts more visible. It is not just about the experience of the people, who were here but also for people, who will see it in the format of virtual reality.” We are looking at 50 womenswear and 20 menswear looks. Xenium have a five camera set up, which will shoot in virtual reality. The show will be released through Etihad globally so that when people see the show they feel like they are a part of it.

The Lakmé Fashion Week continues to innovate at the edge of fashion. After doing away with the physical press conference for a digital one, this is the next step towards embracing technology in fashion. A first in the country and maybe the world at a fashion week, viewers will get an immersive experience of a fashion event like never before. This will truly be a benchmark for fashion show and for Xenium Digital to merge the two ends and create a beautiful experience.
